Enhanced testing requirements for vape cartridges are being enforced by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC). The MMCC recently released an advisory after an internal investigation of other brands in the space to notify patients and stakeholders of potential lead contamination of cannabis liquids in vape cartridges following exposure to heat.

Rest assured that patients can count on iAnthus/MPX and our history of being industry leaders in quality control.
As consumers and patients, compatibility testing has been part of our DNA since our inception and we want you to know that you have a trusted brand in iAnthus/MPX for your medicinal needs.

We demand that our manufacturing partners adhere to the highest standards. The routine batch testing of oil, hardware and oil-filled units have become part of our day to day life. You can find our certificate of analysis here which includes a heavy metal analysis utilizing an ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry).

An example of our continued commitment and innovation in the science of material compatibility can be found in the concentrate jars we use in every state that we operate in. We engaged our manufacturing partners to line each lid of our jars with a custom fit PTFE lining. This has since become an industry standard.

We are proud to state that our cartridges are clean and free of heavy metal contaminants.
